Why is it called Chez Plumeau?
You probably were asking yourself this question since the beginning but I didn’t want to give away this tiny mystery until you knew what the website was about.
A “plumeau” is the french word for "feather duster". “Chez Plumeau” is also the name of a famous restaurant located in Montmartre, Paris, nearby the Dali Museum and a few steps from my own home. This restaurant is quite ancient, it’s one of the last place that remains from the time when Montmartre was a homeland for artists, especially for painters. This restaurant was previously a Cabaret and a lot of artists used to go there. It is still a very nice place to have a diner if you come to Paris.
